Reflective Evaluation

What pleased me about making my video is writing the script, because it was easy as it was about me. The equipment at first was abit hard but we got explained through it so it was easy, and the camera i used to record myself was easily portable and loud and the quality was clear.
Other thing was I went to a number of locations to make the video more interesting, so it wasn’t just in one place.
The part where i had to edit my video was abit difficult because i had never used that program software before, so then i decided to edit it on movie maker on my laptop this programme was much easier to use. i just added clips of what i look doing such as football and makeup i didn’t add any music i did add different transitions when the clips started.
What i like about my blog is that everyone can see it because it’s online, and that they can leave there feedback in the comments on how they think my blog is.
The technical aspects i had was I couldn’t get a camera on the week i wanted too because they were all booked out, so I had to wait to the week after and this got me abit behind, but then i got one and recorded all my work. What i could do so this wouldn’t happen again is make sure a week before there is cameras available a week before so i can put my name down for one.
Overall i think my blog is good and detailed.

Analysis of interactive video

The definition of interactive video is stuff you can stop and starts it exists on different platforms.

The platform which interactive videos exist on are things such as YouTube, your mobile phone and a DVD player also the Internet, your mp4 player and your computer example PS3 or Xbox your iPod touch and VHS, and lastly your television and radio.

The purposes for interactive video are for example your computer or consoles such as PS3 and Xbox are for entertainment, interactive video could be advertising you something, so it would catch your attention like the advertisement's you see whilst your browsing the net, or it could also be for educational purposes like the games on the Internet, helping kids with their subjects, like bit size and looking on the Internet searching for educational websites.

The categories I Will be looking at are viral user gen, virtual tours and film trailers, the definition of a film trailer is a preview which is an advertisement for a feature film that will be shown in he future at the cinema, a trailer consists of a series of selected shots from the film being advertised.
I looked at two film trailers one which was called the exorcism of Emily Rose:

Exorcism Of Emily Rose:

which is a horror film and the second which was Toy Story 3:
Toy Story 3

Which is a Disney film so they were both completely different film genres.
The exorcism of Emily Rose was about a girl who had gotten possessed by an evil exorcist and the priest trys to help to get this evil spirit out of her. The target audience was 15+ and the digital platform it appeared on was YouTube but also can be watched on other websites if preferred.
The film enhanced my experience, because it looks interesting and eye catching when you watch the trailer and you want to know what’s going to happen next.
The second film Toy Story 3 was a third film, and the boy Andy in the film is grown up now and is going to college so he has so give away all the toys and the toys are not happy about this. The target audience I think is all ages but especially for kids.
The platform which it appeared on was YouTube, the purpose was to watch the final film that everybody had been waiting for, and the technical aspects of both films were loud good clear quality.

The two viral videos I look at were binge drinking and photo shop extreme, the binge drinking video was made by a professional, the video shows the Women sober and normal then a clip with the Women  in his house how she would look at the end of the night then a clip saying "you wouldn't start a night like this so why end it like that". The target audience I personally think is for teenagers because most teenagers binge drink a lot, the digital platform this appears on was YouTube.
The purpose of the video is to give young teenagers advice on not to go out and get badly 'wasted'. The quality of the clip was really clear and showed a very understanding image of what the whole video was about.  Binge Drinking Girls Night Out.

The second viral video I looked at was called photo shop extreme, Photo Shop Makeover

it was about a women is shown as plain and oringal then her looks have a dramatic change as shes made from fat to skinny  then she is airbrushed , the target audience that this is for is older women who are interested in photo shop program and enjoy editing on the computer, the digital platform it appears on was YouTube and face book. The whole purpose of the video is to show someone who looks completely natural with no makeup and transformed and airbrushed into a whole new look. The quality of the video was clear and easy to see how the women's face had changed.

The next thing I looked at was user generated contents is various types of media that have been created by individual people posted on websites like YouTube.

The first video I looked at was called photo shop extreme makeover - Angela Ta blot, Photo shop Extreme Angela Ta Blot     basically what happens in the video is a really elderly women was really wrinkly and had grey hair, photo shop airbrushed her wrinkles out to make her face look shiny and smooth, and was able to changed the hair color of her hair from grey to brown, so there was a really big change.
The target audience I reckon this is for is all ages because any one can use photo shop.
The digital platform this appeared on was YouTube, it en chances the users experience because it makes you want to go and use photo shop and edit one of your photos to see how it would turn out. The purpose of the video is showing you what photo shop can do from making someone who is really old to look completely different.
The technical aspects was that the sound was very loud and the song "you are beautiful" in the background really fitted in with the image and video.

The second video I looked at was called 'leave Britney Alone'

Leave Britney Alone
The video was basically a fan recording themselves for Britney because months ago she was going through hard times and he is telling the people to stop making fun of her.
The target audience could be for anyone but especially for Britney spears fans, the purpose of the video is the person trying to spread a message to people who don't like Britney to leave her alone. The tequciqual aspects are the sound was very loud and the quality was alright as the person had recorded their self.

The next two videos I looked at were viral videos, one which was called Cadbury "eyebrows TV Advert" Cadburys Eyebrow Advert

Basically what happens in the video is the two kids in the video sit there with the music playing out loud and then the camera is moved right onto their face and they are moving there eyebrows to the beat. I think the target audience for this video is for ages some people might even find it abit amusseing.
The digital platform it appeared on was YouTube and also it use to be an advert on television. The purpose of this video is it persuades people to buy Cadburys chocolate and it also makes the audience think what the adverts for because you don’t really understand at first that its about Cadburys chocolate and also to have a laugh at the two kids shown on the screen.
The technical aspects of the video are that the quality was very good and clear image, the sound is very loud with the music in the background.

Finally the last two videos I looked at were virtual videos; a virtual tour is a 360 tour of any destination.
I looked at a video called 360 Virtual Kenilworth Town Castle: Virtual Kenilworth Town Castle:

What happens in the video is it shows you the remains of Kenilworth caste giving you a whole tour around the surroundings outside the castle. The target audience for this video is older people as younger children I think would find this boring.
The digital platform I found this tour on was pan3sixty.co.uk.
The video enhances the users experience because it is educational and shows you a clear enough view without having to go there and see it for yourself. In the video the technical aspects of the video were the quality was very clear and it was a very fine day in the video so it made it even better to see.

The last video was another virtual tour which was called Loughton Leisure Centre :

Leisure Centre
it shows you a tour of the swimming centre and how deep the water is, and also shows you a seating area where you can sit down and watch someone swim, if you press rotate again you can see another pool.
The target audience this is for is all ages because it’s just showing you a swimming pool centre. This enhances the users experience because it just showing you how the swimming pool looks which is good if you have never been there before you can look on the website before you go.
The tequincal aspects of the video are the quality is very good and you get a clear view of the whole swimming pool centre.

the viral marekting campain ,gets a lot of hits i would forward the one i chose to a friend which was the photo shop one i think it would be populaur to people who like learning how to use photoshop.
i dont think that user generated material would get boring for people because its something different its something that people have put on themselves so i think certain people would find that interesting, one of my examples was a huge fan talking about Brintey Spears , he had flim this himself and had got over a million views so i dont think much people found it boring.
but i also think virtal tours are very populaur, and good if you havent been to the place as yet but i dont think it can beat real life.
